TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama’s basketball game Sunday against the University of Florida is officially sold out. It’s the second straight home sellout for the Crimson Tide whose home game last Saturday against Tennessee was also a sell out.

The Tide, 15-10 overall, 8-5 in the Southeastern Conference, plays Florida, 22-5, 8-5, at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday. The game is being nationally televised on CBS with Dick Enberg and Bill Raftery calling the game for the network.

Chubby Checker will sing the National Anthem at the game on Sunday. He will also take part in judging a twist contest for University of Alabama students at halftime of the game.

Following Sunday’s game, Alabama has one home game remaining, the Auburn game at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, March 1. Tickets remain for that game and can be purchased at the Coleman Coliseum Athletic Ticket Box Office, by calling 1-877-TIDETIX or through Alabama’s official website, www.rolltide.com. Alabama will honor its three senior basketball players, All-SEC forward Chuck Davis, Evan Brock and Jean Felix prior to the tip-off of that game.
