TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama’s 71-61 win against LSU on January 9 was the only game it played last week yet it was enough to allow the Crimson Tide to move up four spots in both national collegiate basketball polls released Monday.
In the Associate Press rankings, Alabama moved from No. 14 to No. 10. Alabama is ranked No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today poll, a jump from No. 13 where it was ranked the previous week.
Alabama has two games this week, traveling to Vanderbilt for a 7 p.m. CST game on Wednesday then returning home to host Georgia at 12:30 p.m. CST on Saturday. Tickets to that game are sold out.
