TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Crimson Tide dropped a tough 73-65 decision to the No. 5 ranked Purdue Boilermakers Saturday at Coleman Coliseum. Senior Mikhail Torrance led the Crimson Tide with 18 points while sophomore JaMychal Green added 16 points and eight rebounds. Senior Justin Knox tied his career high with 14 points.

The Crimson Tide falls to 6-3 while Purdue stays perfect at 9-0. After falling behind 9-1 to start the game, Alabama rallied to lead by a many as 16 in the second half. The Boilermakers rallied late to remain undefeated on the season. Robbie Hummell scored a game high 23 points for Purdue. Alabama takes on Samford on Dec. 16. At Coleman Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CST).
