Dwyer, Berryman and Houston all receive promotion, Morris rejoins staff
Sean Dwyer enters his second season as special assistant to the head coach and his fourth season on the Alabama basketball staff. Dwyer was promoted to his new position prior to the 2013-14 season. In his new position, Dwyer is responsible for statistical and video analysis of Alabama practices and games. He also will serve as the program's compliance liaison and oversees the managerial staff, among other duties.
Prior to his promotion, Dwyer spent two years as Alabama's video coordinator, after serving a season at Arkansas in the same role.
Dwyer brings a wealth of experience with successful programs, having served in varying roles at Michigan State and Florida. He spent four years as a student manager at his alma mater Michigan State, where he was a part of the Spartans' 2009 run to the national championship game and four straight NCAA appearances.
Following graduation from Michigan State in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in finance, Dwyer spent one season working as an assistant video coordinator at the University of Florida under head coach Billy Donovan. At Florida, he analyzed film, recorded games for scouting purposes, maintained the Gators' video library and instituted the grading performance evaluations that he earlier had developed at Michigan State.
