Was a five-star prospect according to Rivals.com and ranked as the seventh best small forward in his class and the 22nd best prospect in the nation by the organization ...led Kemper County High School to the Mississippi 3A State Championship by averaging 23.8 points, 15.7 rebounds and 5.1 blocks to earn Mississippi's Mr. Basketball title along the way ... he was also named the Gatorade State Player of the Year and the MVP of the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star game ...received an invitation to the prestigious McDonald's All-American game, but did not participate in the actual game due to injury ... is the 10th McDonald's All-American to suit up for the Crimson Tide.
