Albertville, Ala. (Albertville)
The only south paw in this year's class, Alex Watkins is ranked 23rd overall and the fourth best left-handed pitcher in Alabama by Perfect Game USA. A national top 1,000 player, Watkins was picked by Perfect Game as a 2013 Honorable Mention Preseason All-American. Following his junior season, the lefty was chosen as the 2013 Marshall County Tournament MVP, as well as a Class 6A All-State Honorable Mention selection. Watkins set the school ERA record as a sophomore with a 1.40 mark then re-broke the record when he notched a 0.78 ERA as a junior. Perfect Game also invited Watkins to the 2012 National Underclass Showcase, as well as their 2011 Southeast Underclass Showcase.
Alabama assistant coach Dax Norris about Alex Watkins
"Alex has great size for a pitcher and projects very well for our program. He has a projectable arm and a body that has a lot of room to develop. He arm angles are good, with a three-quarter slot but he just throws strikes. He will need more time to develop physically, but he pounds the zone."

Cantonment, Fla. (Pensacola Catholic)
Cody Henry is one of Perfect Game USA's top 500 players nationally, and is ranked as the 23rd best catcher in Florida. A three-time varsity letterwinner at Pensacola Catholic High School, Henry helped his team to back-to-back state titles in 2012 and 2013, and a national championship with a 30-0 season in 2013. As a junior, he hit .400 with a .512 on-base percentage, four home runs, 43 RBIs, 12 doubles, 21 walks and five stolen bases. The catcher from Cantonment, Fla., recorded a .440 on-base percentage with three home runs and 25 RBIs as a sophomore, after posting a .413 on-base percentage and 11 RBIs as a freshman. Henry also plays quarterback on the PCHS football team, passing for 2,063 yards and 14 touchdowns en route to an invitation to Rivals' 2013 football showcase in Atlanta.
Alabama assistant coach Andy Phillips about Cody Henry
"Cody is a switch-hitting power guy that can play behind the plate or the corner infield positions. He's very athletic and he's a guy we're very excited about. As a switch-hitter, he has the potential to have a dynamic bat from both sides of the plate and he can drive the ball to the gaps. He will be able to do multiple things on the field us because of his athleticism."

Alexander City, Ala. (Benjamin Russell)
Zac Rogers is one of Perfect Game's top 20 players in Alabama and places as the state's seventh-ranked right-handed pitcher. As a junior in 2013, Rogers led Benjamin Russell High School in innings pitched (29) and strikeouts, while finishing second on the squad with a 1.11 ERA. In two seasons on the varsity squad at BRHS, Rogers has collected a 9-2 record with a 0.79 ERA in 57 innings pitched. The Alexander City native was selected in the 2012 Alabama Baseball Coaches Association All-Star game following his sophomore season.
Alabama assistant coach Dax Norris about Zac Rogers
"We saw Rogers a few years ago and really liked what we saw. He has a good fastball and a good slider. He could be a starter here, but right now we see him more of a back-end guy on our staff. He pounds the strike zone at 88-90 and will make an immediate impact in our program. "
