TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama baseball team returns to Sewell-Thomas Stadium for the second week of their fall workouts on Tuesday, with the first of three full practice sessions. The Crimson Tide will then scrimmage on Friday night to wrap up the week.
The Tide will have full team practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Alabama will then have a 14-inning intrasquad on Friday night with first pitch at approximately 6 p.m.
Fans are invited to visit "The Joe" to get an early look at the 2014 Crimson Tide baseball team, as all fall practices and scrimmages are open to the public. The weekly schedule will be posted on RollTide.com on a weekly basis.
With the new seating area in right field, fans are encouraged to come out to Sewell-Thomas Stadium and watch practices and scrimmages from the new plaza seating area beyond the right field fence. For Friday night scrimmages under the lights and for Saturday afternoon games, it's a perfect place to watch the Bama baseball team work out before attending Crimson Tide football games.
