TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama shortstop Mikey White has been selected as a starter for the East Division team in the 2014 Cape Cod League All-Star Game, which will be held on Sunday, July 26, in Bourne, Massachusetts.

Playing this summer for the Brewster Whitecaps, White is hitting .315 with three home runs, four doubles, nine RBI and 13 runs scored in 20 games.

The 2014 Cape Cod League All-Star Game will be televised on Fox College Sports beginning at 5 p.m. CT.

With White's selection to the 2014 CCBL All-Star Game, Alabama will have players in the league's all-star game in each of the last two seasons. Former UA pitcher Justin Kamplain played in the midsummer game in 2013.
