Alabama-Georgia Baseball Game Rained Out; Double Header Set for Friday at 3 p.m. (EDT)
The Alabama-Georgia baseball game was rained out Thursday night at Foley Field and will be made up as part of a double header on Friday, May 16 at 3 p.m. (EDT).
The teams will play two nine-inning games and there will be a 30-minute break between games.
Alabama (30-23, 14-13 SEC) is in a four-way tie for fourth-place in the SEC standings with Florida, Kentucky and Ole Miss. Georgia has already won the Southeastern Conference title and the SEC Eastern Division with a 19-7-1 league mark.
The rainout marks the Tide's eighth SEC game affected by weather this season. In addition, Alabama as had weather-related issues in seven of its 10 SEC series.
