Alabama and No. 20 Kentucky to play Doubleheader on Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Due to anticipated rain showers late Saturday night into Sunday in the Tuscaloosa area, Alabama and No. 20 Kentucky will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 15, with first pitch at 12:35 p.m. CT. Game two of the doubleheader will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game one and both games will be nine-inning contests. With this change, there will be no game on Sunday as the three-game series will conclude on Saturday.

All tickets purchaed for the game on Sunday, March 16 will be valid for the dobleheader on Saturday. One ticket, either for Saturday March 15 or Sunday March 16  will allow admission for both game of the Saturday doubleheader.

The Southeastern Conference series opener will begin as scheduled on Friday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CT, from Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
