TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - With both Alabama baseball and gymnastics having events running concurrently on Friday night, and the Coleman parking lots being used for gymnastics, the Athletic Department will offer a shuttle service for baseball fans to and from the Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
Starting at 4:30 p.m., the shuttle will load at the women's soccer/student recreation center parking lots with "Gameday Shuttle" on the marquee, and unload at Coliseum Drive to the west of Sewell-Thomas Stadium, until 6:00 PM. After 6:00 p.m., shuttles will still be available for baseball fans from the women's soccer/student recreation center parking lots, but will unload at East Drive of Coleman Coliseum.
Following the baseball game, fans needing transportation back to the women's soccer/student recreation center parking lots will need to load the buses on East Drive of Coleman Coliseum, where shuttle buses will service both baseball and gymnastics fans.
The Crimson Tide welcomes the Wildcats to Sewell-Thomas Stadium for a three-game series to open Southeastern Conference play beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. The series continues on Saturday with first pitch at 6 p.m. and concludes on Sunday with a 1 p.m, start.
