HOOVER, Ala. - The No. 24 ranked Alabama baseball team tied up its game against UAB 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning at Regions Park just before the game was halted due to rain.

Alabama (16-7) loaded the bases in the top of the sixth inning when senior Wes Henderson drew a walk, pushing across senior Kent Matthes for the game-tying score.

The game was suspended at 8:37 p.m. due to rain by umpire Morris Hodges and was halted shortly after 9 p.m. The game will be concluded at a later date.

The Crimson Tide now travels to Gainesville, Fla. to take on No. 23 Florida in a three-game series with the first pitch coming Friday March 27 at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
