JUNIOR COLLEGE (2010-11): Was named All-Region and All-American at Meridian Community College in 2011 ... also garnered all-state honors in 2010 ... in his two seasons at MCC, he appeared in 85 games, with a .396 career batting average, with 21 home runs, 84 RBI and 96 runs scored ... also had 27 doubles, six triples and was 20-for-26 in stolen base opportunities ... hit .399 (77-for-193) in 2011 with 12 home runs, 48 RBI and 58 runs scored ... also had 19 doubles and four triples for a .725 slugging percentage, helping his team post a 33-21 overall record ... was 14-for-19 in stolen base attempts ... ranked 20th nationally in home runs in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) ... as a freshman he hit .391 (45-115) with nine home runs, 36 RBI, eight doubles and 38 runs scored.
