2011 SEASON RECAP: Solidified himself as the Tide's everyday shortstop while excelling at the dish in just his first year ... named to the Tallahassee Regional All-Tournament Team ... started all 63 games at shortstop in his first season in Tuscaloosa ... led the team in two offensive categories which included doubles (22) and RBI (47) ... His 22 doubles rank fourth in a single season at Alabama ... SEC Tournament: Hit .250 (3-for-12) in the SEC Tournament ... doubled and scored in the elimination game against Arkansas ... the double was his 20th of the season. South Carolina: Went 2-for-13 for the series with two runs vs. SC ... both of his hits were doubles. Auburn: Went 5-for-14 with three runs, five RBI and one walk ... hit his fourth homer of the season in game two of Saturday's twinbill. LSU: Went 4-for-13 with four runs, three RBI and a walk ... hit his third homer of the season in game one of the weekend. Mississippi State: Went 3-for-11 with four RBI and one run while walking once, stealing one base and getting hit by a pitch ... one of his three hits included his second home run of the season and the first SEC home run of his Alabama career. Southern Mississippi: Went 4-for-5 on the night, adding a pair of runs and RBI in the process. Vanderbilt: Went 3-for-12 with two RBI and a stolen base for the weekend. Samford: Went 0-for-4 for the night. Auburn (Riverwalk): Went 0-for-3 against the Tigers, snapping a season-long eight-game hitting streak. EIU: Led the Tide with a .545 average against EIU, collecting six hits in 11 at-bats ... had hits in all three games and has hit safely in seven straight ... was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run in game two of the series ... also had a pair of doubles. Georgia (Coolray): Went 1-for-3 on the night with two walks. Troy: Went 1-for-5 with three RBI ... the one hit was his second triple of the season. NWSU: Hit .571 for the weekend, going 4-for-7 with two runs, two RBI and five walks in three games ... sported a .643 OBP for the weekend ... reached base all five times in the final game of the weekend. SOPHOMORE (2010 - Southern Union CC): Played in 53 games for the Bisons ... hit .400 for the season, raking him 12th in the Alabama Community College Conference South Region ... compiled 21 doubles, four triples and 120 total bases ... his 120 total bases ranked him sixth in the ACCC-SR ... knocked in 45 RBI while slamming five home runs ... a strong fielder, finished the season with a .938 fielding percentage.
