SENIOR (2012): Finished the season with a 9.00 ERA, going 0-1 in five appearances and pitching a total of 5.0 innings ... Lasted 0.2 innings in relief against UAB on April 10, allowing one run on three hits with one strikeout ... Took the loss after throwing 1.1 innings against UAB (March 27), allowing a walk and a hit in the 12th inning of a 1-0 loss to the Blazers. Got the Tide out of a two-on, one-out jam in the 11th inning when he entered the game ... Pitched 1.0 inning of relief at Troy (3.20), allowing one earned run on four hits, and getting one strikeout ... Made his first appearance of the season against Southern Mississippi (Feb. 29), pitching a scoreless eighth inning against the Golden Eagles and striking out one of the three batters he faced ... Allowed two runs on three hits with three strikeouts in one inning pitched in the last game of the series at Tulane (March 4).
JUNIOR (2011): A sidearmed delivery provided a change-of-pace for the Tide in his relief appearances throughout the season ... saw action in 18 games, earning himself a 3.94 ERA and a 1-0 record with one save as well ... tossed 16.0 innings striking out nine batters in the process ... made six appearances in SEC play striking out four batters over 4.0 innings ...SEC Tournament: Pitched 0.2 innings against Arkansas (5/25), did not allow a hit or a run, but hit two batters. Auburn: Came in for 0.0 innings of work, walking two batters in game one of the weekend against Auburn (5/14). Mississippi State: Made two appearances for the weekend ... went 1.0 inning, allowing two hits and striking out one batter in game two of Saturday's twinbill (4/30) ... went 0.2 inning, allowing two runs - one earned - on two hits while striking out one batter in Sunday's game (5/1). MVSU: Made a relief appearance in game one of the two-game series (4/12) ... went 1.0 inning, allowing one hit and one walk. Vanderbilt: Came in for 1.1 innings of relief in game three of the series (4/10) ... allowed two runs - one earned - on four hits while striking out one. Arkansas: Came in for 0.2 inning of relief in game two of the series (4/1) ... allowed one earned run on one hit while walking and striking out one apiece. UAB (Regions): Came in for 1.0 inning of relief at Regions. Kentucky: Went 0.1 innings, allowing one earned run on two hits in game two (3/26). UAB: Went 0.2 inning, striking out both batters he faced. EIU: Had a blown save in game one of the series against Eastern Illinois (3/11) ... allowed one earned run on two hits with two hit batters in 0.2 innings. Troy: Came in for 3.0 innings of relief, giving up one unearned run while walking one to earn his first win as a member of the Tide. NWSU: Came in for 1.0 inning, striking out one to his first save of the season in game one of the weekend series (3/4). Southern Mississippi: Went 1.1 innings, giving up three hits and two runs - one earned vs. USM (3/2). USA Classic: Went 0.2 innings against Central Florida, allowing one earned run on two hits while striking out one batter ... came into the game against South Alabama in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded ... faced one batter in which he committed a throwing error that allowed the tying and winning runs to score. Alabama State: Made his second appearance of the season, throwing 1.0 inning and walking one vs. the Hornets. Alcorn State: Made one appearance, tossing 1.0 inning and striking out one in the home opener, his UA debut.
SOPHOMORE (2010 - Grayson County College): Kennedy spent the 2010 season at Grayson County College in Denison, Texas, where helped lead the Vikings to a 30-20 record ... compiled a 6-1 record with five saves in 24 appearances ... led the Vikings in wins, saves and strikeouts per nine innings (14.1) and ranked second on the club in total strikeouts (67) ... worked 36.1 innings and allowed 32 runs (22 ER) on 37 hits with 57 strikeouts and 17 walks.
