Houston (2/20-22): Came home from Houston tied for the team lead in RBI (3) and ranked second in hits (6) and total bases (10) ... went 2-for-3 in Saturday's contest to record the first multi-hit effort of his career ... led the Tide in hits on Sunday, recording three, including his first career home run. Louisiana-Lafayette (2/27-3/1): Delivered a go-ahead, eighth-inning single in the first game of the weekend to help Alabama come away with the win, finishing the night 1-for-3 with an RBI. Mississippi State (3/14-15): Wrapped up the weekend batting .417 (5-12) with a double, two RBI, two runs and a hit-by-pitch ... both singles in Saturday's contest were rally starters with two outs in the fourth and eighth innings. Florida (3/27-28): Returned from a week off due to illness and came through for the Tide ... finished off the weekend batting .556 (5-9) with one RBI and three runs scored ... entered the first game of Friday's doubleheader as a pinch-hitter and proceeded to collect two hits in as many attempts, including a single that plated the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning. UAB (3/31): Went 1-for-3 with his first career triple while also contributing one RBI and run inside Regions Field. UAB (4/14): Finished the night 2-for-3 with a run scored. Missouri (4/17-18): Recorded a 4-for-12 (.333) weekend that included a double and one run scored ... recorded three hits in Friday's series-opener in Columbia to tie his career-high mark. Southern Miss (4/28): Went 2-for-3 and knocked his second home run of the season ... contributed both of the team's RBI while adding one run scored. Auburn (5/8-10): Batted .500 (6-12) with two RBI, two runs, one walk and a stolen base across the weekend on the Plains ... in the series finale, reached base safely in all five plate appearances while leading the team in hits at a perfect 4-for-4 ... also added two runs scored in the 14-4 finale with the Tigers. Mercer (5/12): Finished 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored for the night in Huntsville. SEC Tournament: Led the Crimson Tide in hitting across the four games, sporting a .357 (5-14) average with two RBI ... contributed a two-hit effort with one RBI in game one of the tourney against Ole Miss.
On the mound: Closed out the year with an 0-1 record and a 3.86 ERA (6 ER/14.0 IP) in 11 appearances ... provided depth for the Crimson Tide coming out of the bullpen for the first time during his career while still filling his role at designated hitter ... did not allow a walk in his first six appearances (6.2 IP) before walking five batters against LSU. Maryland Eastern Shore (2/14): Made his Crimson Tide debut as a pitcher in the second game against the Hawks ...worked 1.0 inning and allowed one hit while notching two punchouts. Savannah State (2/24): Picked up his first career save in the second game of the doubleheader with the Tigers ... threw 1.1 innings and struck out two. LSU (4/2): Suffered the first loss of his career against the nation's No. 3 team, tossing 2.2 IP and allowing three runs on two hits while walking five. Alabama A&M (5/5): Collected his second save of the season in game one against the Bulldogs ... tossed 3.0 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing two hits while striking out a season-high five batters.
JUNIOR (2014) Appeared in eight games with two starts in his first season with the Tide. Stephen F. Austin (2/22): Made his Alabama debut as the designated hitter against Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 22). Alcorn State (3/18): Recorded his first career hit with UA against ASU, with a two-run single. Jackson State (4/15): Drew his first career walk in a pinch-hit opportunity.
JUNIOR COLLEGE (2012-13) A First Team All-North selection following his 2013 campaign at Shelton State Community College ... two-time all-region selection ... played 55 games in 2013, batting .321 with two home runs, 34 RBI and 25 runs scored ... played 58 games as a freshman in 2012, batting .400 with 82 hits, the second-most in Shelton State single-season history, adding 46 RBI and 32 runs scored ... helped the 2012 Shelton State team win their region and finish third at the JUCO World Series.
