SENIOR (2016) Nicholls State (2/24): Saw his first action of the new season, entering as a pinch-hitter and remaining in the game at shortstop. USA Baseball-Irish Classic (3/4-6): Made his first start of 2016, getting the nod at third base against Niagara in Saturday’s first game ... finished 2-for-4 with a walk and one run scored. Houston (3/11-13): Saw action into two games, starting Sunday’s finale … batted .333 (2-6) with one RBI and a run scored … collected two hits on Sunday to notch multi-hit efforts in consecutive starts for the first time in his career. Southern Miss (3/15): Started at third base and finished the night 1-for-4 at the plate. LSU (3/19-20): Wrapped up his three starts at third base batting .300 (3-10) with two runs scored, one walk and a stolen base. UAB (3/22): Went hitless in three opportunities against the Blazers. Tennessee (3/25-26): Started the first two games of the series at shortstop, finishing 3-for-8 (.375) with one RBI and a run scored against the Volunteers ... recorded with a season-high three hits in the opener, his most hits in a single game since May 13, 2014, at Jacksonville State. Auburn (3/29): Went 0-for-2 in two at-bats in Montgomery. Georgia (3/31-4/2): Finished with a pair of hits, two RBI, a walk and a sacrifice bunt in Athens. Alcorn State (4/5): Started game one of the doubleheader, going 1-for-2 with a walk and one run scored. Ole Miss (4/15-17): Entered as a pinch-runner and remained in the game at third in Sunday’s finale ... finished 0-for-1. Texas A&M (4/22-24): Entered as a defensive replacement in game two after Chandler Avant suffered an ankle injury ... started game three at short ... finished the weekend with one run scored in his six at-bats. Samford (4/26): Went 2-for-4 with a home run, one RBI, and a pair of runs scored ... collected his first home run of the 2016 season and the second of his career (other, Feb. 15, 2014, vs. St. Louis). Mississippi State (4/28-30): Wrapped up his weekend with one hit, run scored and a walk. Auburn (5/6-8): Saw time in all three games, starting the final two of the weekend … recorded two hits with a walk and two sacrifice bunts against the Tigers. Arkansas (5/13-15): Finished the weekend in Fayetteville with two hits, including one double, with two RBI, two runs scored, one walk and a stolen base … added a pair of RBI in game two with a double down the line to increase the Tide’s lead in the 10-4 win on Saturday. Samford (5/17): Went 1-for-4 with one run scored against the Bulldogs. South Carolina (5/19-21): Was hit by one pitch across his 10 plate appearances in the three games. SEC Tournament (5/24-26): Tied for the team lead in RBI with three, and finished with a double, one walk and one run scored … drew a bases-loaded walk against Kentucky to bring in his first RBI … doubled for a pair of RBI against Florida in the Tide’s three-run second inning.
JUNIOR (2015) Saw action in 19 games by season's end, starting nine of those contests ... entered four times as a defensive replacement, three as a pinch-runner and twice as a pinch-hitter ... batted .244 (10-41) with two doubles, five RBI, five runs and two stolen bases ... recorded a five-game hitting streak from Feb. 14-March 1, batting .400 (615) with a double, RBI, four runs scored, one walk and a stolen base during that time. Maryland Eastern Shore (2/13-15): Batted .750 (3-4) with a double, RBI, four runs scored and one walk across two games ... earned his first start of the season, getting the nod at third base in the second game of the series and finishing with a season-high two hits, including a double, two runs scored and a walk. Texas A&M (3/20-21): Started each game of Saturday's doubleheader as the designated hitter, finishing the pair of games with a double, RBI and run. South Alabama (3/24): Finished with a hit and a stolen base in his start against the Jaguars. Florida (3/27-28): Started the first game of Friday's doubleheader and entered in the second contest as a pinch-hitter ... recorded one hit and one RBI in game one. Mississippi Valley State (4/21): Went 1-for-2 with two RBI after entering as a defensive replacement at shortstop in game two of the doubleheader with the Delta Devils.
SOPHOMORE (2014) Made 32 appearances, including 15 starts, during the 2014 season ... started 14 contests at third base and one at second ... finished with a .283 average, including one home run, five RBI and a .391 on-base percentage. St. Louis (2/15): Recorded the Crimson Tide's first home run of the 2014 season ... the home run against SLU was also the first of his career. Kentucky (3/15): As a pinch-runner, accounted for the game-winning run in extra innings against the 20th-ranked Wildcats. Jacksonville State (5/13): Posted a career-high four hits at Jax State ... earned all three starts at third base from April 13-16, hitting .545 (6-11) with a pair of runs scored.
FRESHMAN (2013) Capped off his first season at Alabama hitting .308 (4-13) with an RBI and four runs scored ... appeared in 12 games, twice as a starter ... both of his starts came at third base, once against Alcorn State (April 9) and the other against UAB (April 16) ... was a late-inning defensive replacement at second base three times ... appeared in five games off the bench during SEC play. Virginia Military Institute (2/16): Made an appearance as a defensive replacement at third base in game two of the season-opening series. Tennessee (3/17): Registered his first career hit, run and RBI in the series with the Volunteers, with an RBI base hit coming in the series finale. Southeastern Louisiana (4/2): Drew his first walk of the season and scored a run. Alcorn State (4/9): Made his first career start, going 2-for-4 in the contest. UAB (4/16): Reached base a season-high three times on a single and two walks while recording one run in his start against the Blazers. Ole Miss (5/23): As a pinch-runner, scored the game-winning run in Alabama's 7-5, 10-inning victory over the 18th-ranked Rebels in the SEC Tournament.
