Tuscaloosa, Ala. -

The University of Alabama has produced four Olympic gold medalists in its long and storied history and fans will have a rare chance to meet all four of them at an autograph session on Saturday afternoon from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Sam Bailey Track Stadium.

UA's Athletics Marketing Department has arranged for the autograph session that will feature all four of Alabama's track and field gold medalists - Calvin Smith, Lillie Leatherwood, Karani James and Pauline Davis. The session will take place at the entrance to the stadium. The event is free to the public. Fans will receive a photo card featuring all four gold medalists that will serve as an autograph card.

Smith and Leatherwood both won gold at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles with Smith running a leg on the United States' 4x100-meter relay team and Leatherwood running on the USA's 4x400-meter relay unit. Davis won two gold medals at the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney, Australia, her third Olympic Games, by winning the 200 meters and running on The Bahamas' gold-medal 4x100-meter relay. James is Alabama's most recent gold medalist, winning the men's 400 meters at the 2012 Summer Games in London.
