TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama women's cross country team captured its third team title of the season and its third consecutive Crimson Classic championship while the men finished seventh hosted by Alabama at the Harry Pritchett Running Park.

"I've been very pleased with how the women's team is coming along after each meet," distance coach Adam Tribble said. "They are continuing to improve and I am really excited about where they are headed."

In the 5-kilometer women's race, sophomore Katelyn Greenleaf finished second overall with a time of 17:22.22 while classmate Meropi Panagiotouran a 17:28.32 en route to a third place finish.
