Led by freshman Hayden Reed's NCAA discus title, the Tide men finished 15th nationally, while the women, paced by junior Remona Burchell's NCAA title in the 100-meters, took 18th place, its first top-20 finish since 2010


14 Track and Field Athletes Earn All-America Honors

The Crimson Tide's All-American contingent powered the men's team to a 15th place finish and the women to an 18th place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships

2014 Indoor Season
Finished 12th in the shot put with a mark of 56-11 1/2 at the SEC Indoor Championships ... placed 11th in the shot put at the Tyson Invitational with a mark of 54-8 1/4 ... finished runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 56-9 1/4 at the Indiana Relays ... threw a season-best mark of 57-5 3/4 to place eighth in the shot put at the Rod McCravy Memorial ... finished fourth in shot put at the Auburn Invitational with a mark of 55-8 1/4.

Freshman (2012-13)
Redshirted and did not compete as a true freshman ... picked up his second victory of the 2013 summer at the Pan American Junior Championships in Medellin, Colombia, with a discus throw of 205-0 (62.49 meters) ... also won the discus at the 2013 USA Track & Field Junior Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, with a winning throw of 206 feet, 2 inches (62.84 meters) ... made that winning effort on his only legal throw of the day, easily outpacing the field en route to earning a spot on the U.S. National Team that competed in the Pan American Junior Championships.
