Freshman Bridget Blood posted a top-25 finish in the 200 breaststroke to turn Alabama's highest finish on the final day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held in Minneapolis, Minn., this week.
Blood posted a 2:10.07 in preliminaries to take 22nd place while junior Kaylin Burchell, who earned All-American honors in the 100 breaststroke a day earlier, took 42nd place in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:12.27.
Overall, Alabama finished in 39th place with 13 team points.
