Diver Earns Top-8 Finish at NCAA Zone B Championships

AUBURN, Ala. - Alabama sophomore Paige McCleary finished seventh in the finals of the 1-meter board on day one of the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships being held in the James E. Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala. this week.

McCleary took seventh place in finals with a total of 555.60 points accrued between prelims and finals.

On the men's side of the meet, freshman Jordan Lesser was the Crimson Tide's top finisher, taking 17th in the finals of the 3-meter board after totaling 610.40 points between prelims and finals. Sophomore Jake Carloni was 21st in the prelims with 301.80 points while sophomore Luke Zippi was 32nd with 271.80 points.

The NCAA Zone B Championships continue on Tuesday with the men competing off the 1-meter board and the women going off the 3-meter board. On Wednesday, both the men and women will compete off the platform.
