KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - University of Alabama divers opened up the New Year at the Tennessee Invitational over the weekend, led by junior captain Paige McCleary's pair of top-six finishes.

McCleary took fourth off the 1-meter board, scoring 286.95 points. She also finaled off the 3-meter board, taking sixth place with 287.25 after scoring 291.35 during prelims. On the men's side, junior Luke Zippi led the Crimson Tide men, taking 12th off the platform with 288.10 points.

The Tide swimmers and divers return to action this Saturday at the Alabama Aquatic Center against newly minted Southeastern Conference foe Missouri. The meet, which will be part of Alabama's alumni weekend, will get underway at 11 a.m.
