Swimming and Diving Celebrates Season with Awards Banquet

The Crimson Tide celebrated a season that saw UA swimmers and divers earn All-American and Southeastern Conference honors as well as breaking multiple school records

Alabama Highlights:
2012 - Sophomore:
Competed in the middle distance and distance events during the regular season ... earned a place on the SEC Academic Honor Roll ... named to the Dean's List (3.5 or better grade point average) for the fall and spring semesters ... carries a 3.99 GPA for his career.

2011 - Freshman: Competed in the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyle at the SEC Championships ... just missed scoring in the mile, finishing 17^th ... posted career-best times in 200 and 500 freestyles at the UT Invite in December ... posted a career-best time in the mile at the SEC Championships with a 15:44.54 ... named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
