Bill McDonald serves as the Director of Sports Medicine for the University of Alabama. The full-time staff includes Athletic Trainers Rodney Brown, Bernard Burroughs, Monica Decker, Ginger Gilmore, Clint Haggard, Sherry Kimbro and John Morr. The athletic training staff also consists of six graduate assistants: Connie Andrews, Casey Nordstrom, Merideth Schupp, Christina Mascaro, Kelley Etheridge and Molly Cannell. Alabama ensures the safety of its athletes by assigning at least one athletic trainer to each team to cover home and away events, conditioning, practice and travel. |

Even with the most physically conditioned athletes, injury can occur. The University of Alabama is prepared for such moments with a full staff of doctors and athletic trainers ready to lend their expertise to any medical situation so Alabama's athletes can return to play in peak condition as soon as possible.
