2010 Crimson Caravan FAQs
*Nashville Update*
Despite flooding and weather damage in Nashville, Crimson Caravan will still be held on Thursday, May 6th 2010 with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the event starting at 6:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, the Wildhorse Saloon will not be able to host the event. We have moved the event to the Nashville Airport Marriott. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you in Nashville!
1. How do I purchase tickets? – Click on the
link at the top of this page and enter the promotion code that was emailed to
you to purchase tickets. Tickets are $35 each. There is a limit of 10 per order
and all tickets will be mailed in advance. 2. Will I be able to meet
Coach Saban? – Due to NCAA Bylaw 13.1.2.6.2, Coach Saban will be unable to speak
with any prospective student-athlete (9th-12th grade) or their parents. NCAA
Bylaw 13.02.11 defines a prospective student-athlete as “a student who has
started classes for the 9th grade.” This could be a male or female student,
regardless of whether or not the student participates in sports. Coach Saban
will also be unable to speak with high school coaches or school administrators.
3. Will Coach Saban be available for autographs or pictures? – Autographs
and/or individual photo opportunities will not be available at any of the
Caravan events. 4. What is the dress code? – Business Casual 5.
Is food provided? – Dinner will be served at each event. The menu will differ at
each event based on the caterer. 6. How long does the event last? – Each
event will last about 2 hours. Coach Saban and other University officials will
speak briefly. 7. What time does the event begin? – Each event will
begin at 6:00pm local time. Doors will open at 5:30pm
