The Crimson Tide saw home runs from Brooke Wells, Alexis Pupillo and Audrey Vandagriff
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball's third fall ball date featured a doubleheader against Itawamba, with the Crimson Tide claiming both games by scores of 11-2 and 15-0.
This coming weekend marks the end of the fall season for #Team30, hosting Copiah-Lincoln for a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m. CT before facing Mercer in a 10-inning single game on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m. CT.
FROM HEAD COACH PATRICK MURPHY
"We played really good defense between both games. We had two completely different lineups on the field for both games so I'm very proud of everybody. Our pitchers were awesome. Kaitlyn Pallozzi had her best outing of the fall, with eight strikeouts, no hits and just one walk. I thought Gerritt Griggs was the star of the day on offense. She batted really well at the leadoff spot but also made some great plays on defense at third base and shortstop. For a freshmen, she's really impressed everybody. Overall, all the hitters had good processes in their at-bats. We've been working on that all fall and they did a good job all around."
