Alabama Men’s Tennis Releases 2017 Promotional Schedule

The Crimson Tide reveals promotional schedule for 10 home matches this season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team officially announced the promotional schedule for 10 home matches during the 2017 season. Admission is free to all of the Crimson Tide's home matches this year.
The Crimson Tide opens the 2017 season with a doubleheader on Monday, Jan. 16, when it hosts East Tennessee State at 1 p.m. and Samford at 6 p.m. at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility.
Alabama will host a handful of quality opponents this season, as it will take on four teams at home that are nationally ranked in the top-25 preseason poll. The Tide will begin that tough stretch against No. 23 Texas Tech on Friday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. CT. The next ranked opponent to come to Tuscaloosa is No. 19 Arkansas, as the Tide is set to take on the Razorbacks on Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m. Alabama will then go on to host No. 16 Texas A&M on Saint Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17, at 6 p.m., before facing No. 11 Florida on Thursday, March 30 at 6 p.m. to conclude top-25 ranked teams visiting Tuscaloosa.

Monday, January 16 vs. East Tennessee State/Samford – 1 p.m./6 p.m.
Season Opener
The Tide officially kicks off the 2017 season with a double-header against East Tennessee State and Samford. Students in attendance will receive double CTR points.

Campus Night
During the match Alabama Staff and Faculty will be recognized for their impact on the men's tennis program, and we will be giving away baseball tickets to fans in attendance for Sunday's game. All members of a Greek affiliation in attendance will receive Greek points, and those fans in who attend will receive double CTR points. Free BBQ will be provided for Alabama fans.

Fan Appreciation Day/Senior Day
The Crimson Tide men's tennis team would like to invite fans to celebrate the 2017 season and say their goodbyes to the senior class. Saturday night's match is this year's Fan Appreciation Day, where the Tide will show thanks for this year's support by talking with fans after the match. Fans in attendance will receive double CTR points, and there will be free BBQ provided for Alabama fans.
