Alabama Football Returns to Work After Two-Day Break

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team returned to practice after a two-day break from drills, working outdoors on Tuesday afternoon for two hours in shells (helmet, shoulder pads, shorts) on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Alabama's 20th session of Fall Camp kicked off at 3:30 p.m. with the team continuing to work on fundamentals. The Tide focused its work towards the season-opening contest against No. 20 USC in the AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sept. 3. The Crimson Tide and Trojans are scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT start on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Sam Ponder on the call.
In all, the Tide is scheduled for 28 total practices during Fall Camp and will take part in five practices this week before taking Sunday off. Following Sunday's break, the team will enter game-week preparations for the season opener.
