Alabama Football Holds Second Two-A-Day Workout of 2016 Fall Camp

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama football team's second two-a-day practice of 2016 Fall Camp got underway on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. as the Crimson Tide participated in a two-hour session in full pads on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The team's second practice of the day is set for a 7:30 p.m. start in shells.
Including both sessions, the Tide will have taken part in the ninth and 10th of 28 total practices during the fall leading into the 2016 season. Alabama will start the new campaign in Arlington, Texas, facing off with No. 17 Southern California in the AdvoCare Classic inside AT&T Stadium. The game between the Crimson Tide and Trojans is scheduled for Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. CT, with the game airing on ABC.
Friday's 2:30 p.m. session will be the team's final tune-up prior to Saturday's intrasquad scrimmage inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Following the scrimmage, players will take Sunday off before starting back on Monday with the team's final two-a-day practice of the fall.
