Alabama Football Holds Single Practice on Wednesday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team practiced in full pads for roughly two hours Wednesday afternoon inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
The single practice was the Crimson Tide's eighth of fall camp in preparation for the season-opening contest with No. 17 Southern California in the AdvoCare Classic on Sept. 3. The game will take place inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
Practice began at 2:30 p.m. with the team focusing on fundamentals. Head coach Nick Saban met with the media following today's workout. The Crimson Tide will hold its second two-a-day practice of Fall Camp on Thursday, with the morning session beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the second practice scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Following the morning-night split, the Tide will hold a single practice on Friday afternoon and then head to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for their first intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday. The Crimson Tide will be off on Sunday, the team's first break since the start of camp.
