The Crimson Tide Sports Network (CTSN) will bring Alabama basketball to fans around the state by radio on the Crimson Tide Sports Network and to fans around the world, via the internet with a link through the Tide's official website RollTide.com and on XM Radio. The flagship station for men's basketball in Birmingham is WJOX 94.5 FM and in Tuscaloosa is WFFN 95.3 FM. The CTSN's basketball crew includes Chris Stewart calling the play-by-play and former Tide player Bryan Passink providing color and analysis. Tom Stipe is the producer/engineer for the radio broadcast crew. Alabama's basketball broadcasts are produced by the Crimson Tide Sports Network, which is a joint venture between Learfield Communications of Jefferson City, Mo, and IMG College of Winston-Salem, N.C. CTSN is headquartered in Tuscaloosa with Jim Carabin as its general manager. CTSN sales executives include Chris Bean, Tom Brooks, Jay McPhillips, Tyler Keys and Chris Hand. Gameday coverage of Alabama basketball begins one hour before tipoff time and includes the pre-game comments of coach Anthony Grant. After each game, the crew visits with coach Grant and Alabama players, who made an impact on the game. Hey, CoachIt's the greeting Alabama fans typically use to open the call: "Hey, Coach," and that's also the name of CTSN's weekly call-in show. From August through Nov. 22, "Hey, Coach," airs every Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. CT. The show moves to Monday nights from 6 to 7:30 pm. CT beginning on Monday, Nov. 27. Tom Roberts plays host to the show live at Buffalo Wild Wings in Tuscaloosa. Coach Anthony Grant joins the show during the basketball season to answer questions from Alabama fans on the phone and at the restaurant.
