John Morr Position: Assistant Athletic Trainer

John Morr has been the Tide's certified athletic trainer since his hiring in October 1996.

The Newton, Illinois native is charged with the medical supervision of the men's basketball team and also works with the men's and women's golf teams and men's and women's tennis teams.

Morr graduated from Eastern Illinois in 1986 and has a 1995 Masters' Degree from the University of Kentucky where he was an assistant trainer from 1994-95. His background also includes a 1986 stint with the St. Louis Cardinals and a background in clinical orthopedics and physical therapy.

Morr was born February 12, 1964 in Decatur, Illinois. He is married to Dr. Maggie Stewart Morr and they have two sons, Will and Jake.
