Assistant Athletic Trainer
Mallori Crockett joined the University of Alabama Sports Medicine Staff as the athletic trainer for women's basketball in June of 2013. She is also a medical supervisor for the Crimson Tide's volleyball team. She is also pursuing a Doctorate of Athletic Training at the University of Idaho.
Originally from Montgomery, Alabama she received an Associate of Science degree (2005) before making a decision to further her education at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. While with the Crimson Tide, Mallori received a dual Bachelor of Science degree (2009) in Athletic Training and Health Studies, while also minoring in food and nutrition. She also completed her masters at the University of Alabama and received her Master of Arts degree in Health Studies with a concentration in Athletic Training in 2011.
While pursuing her Master's degree, Mallori worked as an intern athletic trainer with the baseball team and assisted with the football team at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Greensboro, NC.. Mallori was promoted to the role of assistant athletic trainer after one year as an intern working primarily with the football and baseball teams with the day to day management of the women's tennis team, cheerleaders, women's swimming team, and the volleyball team. She also served as an assistant athletic trainer for North Carolina State University working primarily with volleyball, rifle, and cheerleading while supervising gymnastics.
