Bernard Burroughs Position: Assistant Athletic Trainer

Bernard Burroughs joined the Crimson Tide athletic training program in 1998.

Burroughs is a native of Pelham, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Troy State in 1994 and went on to earn his Master's Degree in 1997. Burroughs came to the Capstone after serving as the head athletic trainer at Tuskegee University.

Once at the Capstone, Burroughs was an assistant athletic trainer for football for five years. Currently, he provides athletic healthcare to the Men's Cross Country and Track Team in addition to supervising the graduate assistant athletic trainer responsible for Women's Cross Country and Track.

He is married to Tara Burroughs. Their first daughter, Alexis Faith Burroughs, was born February 9, 2005.
