TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - As the fall sports season quickly approaches UA Athletics announces the return of its popular Crimson Tide Rewards Program, sponsored by Tuscaloosa Toyota. Over $100,000 in prizes will be provided to fans with the grand prize being a new car.

With every fan supporting the Tide in competition making a tangible difference in generating a competitive advantage, Crimson Tide Rewards is based on attendance at UA athletic events other than football. Existing rewards members can swipe their card at any venue to receive one point for their attendance while those not currently enrolled in the program can easily enroll at any athletic event.

Additionally, attendance at select events will be worth two points as well as scanning of the card at Tuscaloosa Toyota during the week of a home football game.

Rewards can be redeemed after accumulating just 10 points with prizes such as concession vouchers, t-shirts, hats, facility tours and a commemorative photo honoring UA's four national championship teams during the 2011-12 season. Select rewards members will also be selected to win prizes at each home event, and are entered to win 2013 football season tickets and a $5,000 Toyota gift card in addition to the brand new Toyota Camry from Tuscaloosa Toyota.

Crimson Tide Rewards members can track their rewards online at www.crimsonrewards.com as well as use the Crimson Tide Rewards Facebook app to earn reward points and engage in weekly polls and daily quizzes on Crimson Tide Athletics. Members with an iPhone can use the free state-of-the art iPhone app to earn five points instantly for signing up, to track their points, receive exclusive offers and download a schedule of upcoming events.

Fans can start earning rewards points at the UA women's soccer game against Samford on August 24 at 6 p.m. and can continue building towards more great prizes throughout the 2012-13 season.
