UA Championship Trophies and Coaches Will Be on Hand Sunday for Championship Celebration
Aug. 17, 2012 TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama fans will have a chance to see the Crimson Tide's four national championship trophies from last year as well as meet the head coaches from UA's 2012 NCAA champion golf, gymnastics and softball teams this Sunday at Tuscaloosa Toyota's Title Town Celebration. The event will be held at the dealership, located at 3325 Skyland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa, between 1-5 p.m. CT. Sarah Patterson, who led Alabama to its sixth NCAA Championship last April, will be joined by Mic Potter and Patrick Murphy, who led the Tide to its first NCAA titles in women's golf and softball respectively last spring. "I'm very excited to be a part of Sunday's Title Town Celebration," Patterson said. "It will be the first time that Alabama's four national championship trophies from last year will be together at the same time and the chance for Mic, Patrick and I to visit with Alabama fans from all over is something we're really looking forward to." In addition to meeting with fans, the trio will be available for photos and autographs. Fans will also be able to have their picture taken with all four of the Tide's championship trophies, including the 2011 BCS Championship trophy, which represents the Tide's 14th national football title and second in the last three years. There will also be plenty of giveaways courtesy of Tuscaloosa Toyota, including the grand prize - a trip to the Alabama-Michigan football game in Dallas on Sept. 1 which includes two tickets and a round-trip charter flight from Birmingham to Dallas.
