A total of 824 student-athletes were named to the 2005 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll, announced Thursday by Commissioner Mike Slive.
Alabama had 63 student-athletes on the list led by the women’s track and field team with 17 selections. The men’s track and field team had the second most at 10 followed by baseball with nine, softball with eight, women’s tennis with seven, women’s golf with six, men’s golf with five and the men’s tennis team had one selection.
The 2005 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2004 Summer, 2004 Fall and 2005 Spring terms.
