Camp Staff Information
- Camps will be led by new Alabama Volleyball coach, Ed Allen, along with his assistants, Julia Silva and Ryan Wills
- The camp will consist of the Alabama Volleyball coaching staff, current and former Alabama players, and collegiate, club, and high school coaches from around the country
PLAYING FACILITIES
Foster Auditorium and Coleman Coliseum will serve as the main playing facilities, along with the Student Recreation Center. Area high school gyms may also be utilized for Team Camps.
FOOD & HOUSING
Campers will be staying in a supervised campus dormitory. Different camps will be assigned different dorms. There is a $100 fee for all lost dorm keys.
Meals will be at Burke Cafeteria, an all-you-can-eat dining hall. Some meals will be catered in from a local restaurant or caterer. There is a prorated charged for all lost meal cards.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All campers have the option of commuting or staying overnight (with the exception of the Middle School Day Camp, which is commuter only)
All camps are open to all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)
Each camper must provide their own bed sheets, blankets, pillow, pillow case, and towels
Each camper must provide their own volleyball shoes, socks, shorts, t-shirts, and knee pads (optional)
Any serious violation of camp rules or regulations could results in immediate dismissal from camp. There will be no refund of tuition in this situation.
CAMP REGISTRATION/DEPOSIT/DISCOUNT INFORMATION
Setter/Attacker Camp: Check-in will take place on Friday, July 8th from 12:00-1:45p at Tutwiler Hall for ALL campers (boarding and non-boarding campers). Please see the campus map for directions.
Middle School Day Camp: Check-in will take place on Monday, July 11th from 8:00-9:00a at Foster Auditorium. Please see the campus map for directions.
Training Skills Camp: Check-in will take place on Monday, July 11th from 12:00-1:45p at Tutwiler Hall for ALL campers (boarding and non-boarding campers). Please see the campus map for directions.
Registration
Register online at rolltide.com (online registration option available soon) - pay with credit card and receive instant confirmation e-mail. An online brochure is also available for registration - print, fill out, and attach check or money order.
Registrations and deposits are due by JUNE 24, 2011. The remaining balance is due on or before camp check-in. Any registrations and deposits received after that date will incur a $25.00 late fee.
NCAA rules do not allow us to offer any discount other than a $75 discount for University of Alabama faculty and staff. No discount will be granted for Middle School Camp.
All camps are open to all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
High School Challenge Camp: July 6-7
- Fees- $300/team
- "Play Only" camp with a round robin format
- 6 match guarantee

- Full balance due by June 24, 2011
- Housing available at an additional cost
Setter/Attacker Camp: July 8-9
- Fees- Boarding: $275, Non-boarding: $235
- 5 training sessions
- Position specific training camp, focused on technical aspects of each position
- Ages: 12 years old - High School senior
- Registration and non-refundable deposit of $100 due by June 24, 2011
Training Skills Camp: July 11-13
- Fees- Boarding: $350, Non-boarding: $310
- 7 training sessions
- Focuses on all fundamental skills of volleyball
- Open for beginning to elite athletes
- Ages: 8 years old - High School senior
- Registration and non-refundable deposit of $100 due by June 24, 2011
Middle School Day Camp: July 11-13
- Fees- Non-boarding: $150
- 5 training sessions
- Introductory camp, focusing on basic skills and game concepts
- Ages: 8 years old - 8th grade
- Registration and non-refundable deposit of $100 due by June 24, 2011
JV/Varsity Team Camp: July 25-27
- Fees- Boarding: $350, Non-boarding: $310
- 7 sessions- training and play
- Instructional and play, focusing on team activities, offensive and defensive systems, and camp tournament
- Head Coaches: reserve a spot with Ryan Wills at rwills@ia.ua.edu or 205 348-3559
- Head Coach registration fee: free with team of 10 or more, $150 if less than 10 players
- Additional coaches: $150 each
- Registration and non-refundable deposit of $200.00 PER CAMPER due by June 24, 2011
- Transportation between venues provided
