Alabama Tennis Camp

US Sports Camps Website

Roll Tide! Train this summer with Alabama's best. The University of Alabama's athletic program is steeped in tradition and pride, which makes this Crimson Tide Nike Tennis Camp an unforgettable experience. The Alabama camp continues to grow and each year sees record attendance.  Please register early to ensure your participation before the registration fills up!

Campers will train at one of the finest tennis complexes in the nation, which features twelve lighted outdoor courts, and four indoor courts at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, along with 12 newly-surfaced recreation courts directly across the street – ensuring maximum potential for match play and small coach-player ratios. Campers also have access to the varsity track, swimming pools, and numerous recreational facilities. Off-court activities include a pizza party, games on the “Quad”, and other social events. The Camp is staffed with some of the best coaches and players across the nation offering a unique opportunity to learn the game regardless of the camper’s skill level.

Crimson Tide head men's coach, Billy Pate directs the camp. In his seventh year as head coach, Pate not only offers unparalleled knowledge and teaching expertise but a long history of tennis coaching and camp experience. Assisting Coach Pate, will be men's assistant coach, Bo Hodge. He is in his first year with the Tide and offers a wealth of tennis experience as a former college All American before going on to a career on tour as a player and as a coach.  Hodge spent 18 months travelling and coaching Venus and Serena Williams along with another year of coaching Mardy Fish, top 20 world ranked men’s tour player.  Also, assisting will be women’s assistant Coach Rahim Esmail.  Coach Esmail also offers unique experience as a highly ranked collegian player before competing on the pro tour and joining the college coaching ranks.  Esmail will coach all three weeks and partner with Coach Hodge to direct week three, June 21-25.
